Basic Ayurveda's Maharasnadi Kadha is a herbal Ayurvedic formulation used in the treatment of inflammatory disorders. Maharasnadi kadha is prawahi quath in which herbs are boiled in water to make a decoction and then fermented as in Asava preparation. Maharasnadi Kadha gives relief in painful joints, pain in the back, pain in muscles, gout, arthritis, rheumatism, sciatica, frozen shoulder, hemiplegia, inflammation of a nerve and many other similar ailments. It is used in Vata disorders like Kampavata (Parkinson’s disease), hemiplegia, paraplegia, Neck pain, low back pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, bloating disease, knee pain, hip pain. It is also used in the treatment of infertility of both males and females.
